A case study of Jody Nix who has an enlarged heart and undergoes defibulator implant surgery.
A weakened heart affects the electrical system, becoming prone in developing abnormal impulses that can lead to sudden cardiac arrest. Can be seen is a newly implanted heart device (defibrillator) on Jody's heart, guarding the risk by shocking his weakened heart back into rhythm at its latest rhythmic disruption. There are delicate wirings on the implant, and screw in Jody's heart muscle. The cardiologist is explaining that any pull on the screw can take it out of the heart muscle. After four weeks, Jody has recovered and he's back in performing with his band.
