Childbirth Process

Animation of the final stage of the birthing process - expulsion. The camera angle is a lateral and superior view of the mother's abdomen. The mother's skin is transparent and only visible is her skeletal and muscular system so that the baby within the abdomen can be seen. During the final stage of birthing, the baby's head pushes and rotates downward into
the relatively small space of the pelvis. The coccyx is designed to swivel back to widen the pelvic outlet as the baby's head moves through. Camera view changes to an inferior shot to show the rest of the baby's body as it comes through the birth canal.
