Male Body Revealing Skeletal System and Nervous System
Since the nervous system's job is to communicate with every part of the
body, it follows that anything that injures the brain has the potential
to affect another part of the body. At the same time, diseases that
interfere with the body's functions may damage the brain. This applies
not only to those that specifically target the nervous system and its
neurotransmitters, like Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, but
to conditions we don't normally associate with mental disease such as
diabetes, cardiovascular disease, even arthritis.
