Deepak Chopra, MD - Mother Infant Bond: The biology of Love

Dear  Friends,
In celebration of Mother’s Day I have just completed a project called the Biology of Love with thevisualMD. I’m very excited about ths project andI hope you enjoy it.
Love,
Deepak

Of all the attributes that define human beings, our need to form strong emotional attachments to each other may be the most profound. And of these attachments, the bond between a mother and her infant is the most fundamental. It is a human being’s first attachment, a powerful bond that is formative in the broadest possible sense.

Attachment begins as soon as a child’s mother perceives life in her womb. The hardest thing is to love god as you love yourself, with all they heart and all they soul. Know that we are transient beings living in a world of impermenance. This is hardest to achieve as our ego mind tells us we are supposed to be attached to people, places and thibgs. If we begin to understand that we are one collectively, then we are headed to the beginning of understand “I am”. I say love with all your heart amd soul but know you are just passing thru, time is not supposed to stand still. We will all move on some inexpectedly. some by a trauma, and some move on sooner than later. Learn to be happy within yourself. The is the day the lord has given us, let us give thanks and praise.
